We support, enhance and protect Bournemouth's incredible parks and we need your help!
You can help us in a number of ways: with a donation or legacy or by volunteering a little of your time with the running of the charity or with fund raising.
As the charity for Bournemouth’s incredible parks and open spaces, we rely on volunteers. Our volunteers help us with day to day operations, and especially help us to fundraise for a range of exciting projects across the borough. Take a look at our current projects which involve wildlife conservation, landscape restoration, education, sculptures, art and even a brand new aviary for our homeless birds.
Every hour you can give means so much to the visitors, residents, people and wildlife that benefit from our projects, now and into the future.
Wildlife and conservation
Britain's wildlife needs our help, and Bournemouth's parks are a great place to start! Get closer to nature and preserve and enhance the wildlife that's on our doorstep.
Play
Help us get children into the great outdoors, so that they can once again make a daisy chain, climb trees, cook up mud pies and build dens!
Education
Teaching young and old about our natural environment is the biggest step towards a greener future.
Art and Culture
We want to enhance Bournemouth's green spaces with evocative and exciting art and cultural exhibitions, tempting a wide variety of people into many parks.
Sport
We like to think of our parks as a great big outdoor gym. Help us get more people off the treadmill and into nature.
Gardens and Growing
Getting your hands dirty and your heart in nature is incredibly therapeutic and rewarding. Help us introduce more people to the glory of gardening.
Health and Well being
Spending time with nature significantly improves our physical and mental health. What can be better than clean air,birdsong and the feel of grass beneath your feet?
Leave a legacy
You have the opportunity to leave a truly meaningful legacy, which will enrich Bournemouth's green spaces and benefit future generations to come. There are a number of ways you can do this, but making a bequest in your will is the most popular as it doesnt get paid during your lifetime. Volunteer
Volunteering tasks can range from office support and administration, event coordination for fund-raising and awareness-raising, marketing and communications activities, to fund-raising at events - like raffles or duck-racing - , or even organising your own event to raise funds for the Foundation.
