Job Vacancy: Visitor Centre Coordinator – position closed

Do you love the outdoors and have a passion for inspiring our local community to gain a love for nature and wildlife?

Due to the success of the Kingfisher Barn Visitor Centre on the Stour Valley Nature Reserve we have a new vacancy for a Visitor Centre Coordinator to help us manage our Visitor Centre, cafe and events programme.

You will develop the social enterprise café which is supported by volunteers to enhance the visitor centre, promote health and wellbeing activities and increase income generation. You will have responsibility for day-to-day management of the centre including events (design and delivery), catering, volunteer recruitment, training and ensuring a warm welcome when our visitors come to the Barn.

Ideally you will have experience in running a Visitor Centre or similar role and have an interest in wildlife and the outdoors, although this is not essential. This is a great opportunity to help us develop this fantastic facility in a varied, innovative role.
